10. Night Dive.
Don’t get left in the dark. St. Croix is one of the top scuba diving destinations in the world. The island is surrounded by amazing sea life and a night dive is an activity not to be missed. Do you think that all marine life goes to sleep when the sun goes down? We’ll, think again. A St. Croix night dive is the perfect time to see octopus, lobster, an array of beautiful fish and catch a glimpse of brain coral feeding!  9. Dinner and a Show.
Experience the culture of St. Croix with an all-you-can-eat West Indian inspired BBQ, including fresh local fish, chicken, rice and beans and mac and cheese. After dinner, stick around for dessert and the entertainment – Mocko Jumbies, glass walkers and live music. Hotel on the Cay hosts the Harbor Master BBQ on Tuesday, Divi hosts Big Al’s BBQ on Thursday, and Friday night is the Pirate’s Buffet at Carambola Beach Resort. 8. Happy Hour.
On St. Croix, we always know that it’s 5 o’clock somewhere! So, grab your favorite rum drink and let loose. What could be better than enjoying the sunset at a beach bar, with cold drink in hand? No matter if you prefer beer, wine or our locally made Cruzan Rum, there are always Happy Hour specials. Bar hop until you find your favorite spot or meet up with new friends before heading off to dinner. Most bars have some kind of entertainment; karaoke, live music, pool tables or just sit back and listen to the sounds of the surf.
 7. Jump Up and First Friday's.
The streets of Christiansted come alive four times a year (February, May, July and November) for one of the largest street parties in the Caribbean. Musician’s line street corners, restaurants and shops extend their hours and offer discounts and the highlight of the evening is the Strand Street performance by the Mocko Jumbies. There are toy vendors for the kids and try the local food favorites – pattes, roti and Johnny Cakes.
Can’t attend a Jump Up? Try a First Friday in Christiansted. This mini Jump Up is sponsored by the Christiansted Restaurant and Retail Association. Stores and restaurants extend their hours and musicians can be found on most street corners. 6. Dinner.
With Creole, Cajun, French, Italian and West Indian influences, there are plenty of diverse restaurants and flavors to choose from on St. Croix. Take advantage of the freshly caught fish of the day and remember to save room for home made key lime pie or rum cake for dessert. Most St. Croix restaurants are pretty casual and don’t require a dress code. However, if you are looking for a special place for your special meal, St. Croix has some of the most talented chefs in the Caribbean and you’ll be sure to have an amazing and unforgettable night. 5. Sunset Jazz.
In the music category, but an event that stands alone, Sunset Jazz livens up the waterfront in Frederiksted the 3rd Friday of every month. This FREE event is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Grab a blanket and head west to enjoy a beautiful sunset, the cool Caribbean breeze and great music. 4. Live Music.
Steel pan drums, reggae and jazz are just a few of the sounds that you’ll hear around St. Croix. Most nights of the week (and a few afternoons, too), restaurants and bars have local musicians playing island inspired and popular hits while guests enjoy dinner and drinks. Looking to shake it? Locals and tourists alike come out on Friday and Saturday nights and dance till the wee hours of the night.
The weeklong St. Croix Blue Bay Jazz Festival takes place in November, and the St. Croix Landmarks Society sponsors candlelight concerts and outdoor world music concerts throughout the year. Local schools and organizations also put on concerts and fundraisers.

3. Divi Carina Bay Casino.
St. Croix is home to the only casino in the Virgin Islands. Try your luck at the Divi Carina Bay Casino and win BIG! With over 10,000 square feet of gaming, slot machines, black jack, roulette, craps and live Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, the action is always in full swing. And who doesn’t love a good slot tournament or game of Bingo. In addition to gaming, the Casino also has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
 2. Sunset Sail.
Let the trade winds calm your soul and enjoy a sunset sail through the Christiansted harbor and picturesque north shore. See St. Croix from a different perspective. Enjoy a romantic night out with your sweetie or treat the kids to an evening sail on the water. Sunset sails are also a great activity for groups or wedding parties. Sails typically depart an hour before sunset and include rum punch. Keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins and the ever famous ‘Green Flash.’ Check our boat charters to make your reservations. 1. Moonlight Kayak Tour.
While your guide tells you ghost stories and island legend and lore, you’ll paddle into the calm and protected waters of Salt River. Bird watchers will enjoy seeing egrets, juvenile blue herring and brown pelicans return to the mangroves for the night. Make sure you keep an eye out for Crucian crocodiles, also known as iguanas. The highlight of the tour is entering bioluminescent bay, where the water lights up as you paddle under the stars. This is truly a sight not to be missed, and one you’ll never forget!
